About Us

PTI Systems® International, Inc. was formed in 2002, but its relationship with its business partner Proactive Technologies, Inc.® has lasted since its formation in 1986.  PTI Systems has equipped employers of all industries – especially manufacturing – with structured on-the-job training development infrastructures and provided technical/program management support including project documentation and reporting services. This worker training system facilitates the “accelerated transfer of expertise™ system” from existing expert workers to new-hire, transferring or cross-training workers – driving both new-hires and incumbent workers to full job mastery. In addition, this infrastructure provides support for internal quality efforts such as ISO/AS/IATF compliance, continuous improvement efforts such as LEAN as well as process and safety compliance.

This approach reduces the employer’s internal costs of training while increasing worker capacity, work quality and quantity, and process/safety compliance. And, unlike repetitive-cost classroom or online training, the cost per each additional trainee declines once the investment in establishing the structured on-the-job training program is made.

Projects have been established domestically and internationally, including those in states such as Colorado, Florida, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Washington DC and as well as internationally in Canada, Germany, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago. Many of these projects were in conducted in partnership with state and local workforce development agencies, departments of commerce, local and regional educational institutions and philanthropic funding groups.
